The Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute offers research-based coach training and certification.

Commitment to Excellence and Independent Review

We believe in teaching and adhering to the highest standard of ethics and ICF Core Coaching Competencies. We voluntarily submit our curriculum, faculty qualifications, and policies and procedures. We have done this since the launch of our first CTI in 2010, because we want our coaches to know that our programs are aligned with the high standards they deserve in a training program.

The CaPP Institute is built on three pillars…

Coaching Competence

A framework that gets results
Coaching is a powerful professional discipline. When done well, it can transform lives, careers, relationships and results. Our goal is to help you become a highly-effective coach, someone who can coach confidently, helping people navigate challenges and seize opportunities again and again. So we give the structure, the tools and the training to do just that. And it starts from Day One in our Coach Training Intensive and continues in certification and you build your skills over time.

Positive Psychology

Research that powers effective coaching
This pioneering field of research is foundational to our coach training and the key to maximizing your own personal growth and performance. While traditional psychology often focuses on studying and fixing what’s wrong, positive psychology is the study of what happens when things go right. What causes human flourishing? What enables resilience? What empowers you to be at your best? What choices lead to authentic happiness? And does happiness influence things like productivity, relationships and performance? If these questions intrigue you, you’ll love our curriculum and our approach to the practice of coach and your own personal development.

Business Development:

The Skills to Build a Successful Practice
We don’t believe it’s enough to teach you how to coach. You also need the skills to build a successful coaching practice, whether in a business of your own or within an organization. We are committed to helping you build and maintain your coaching practice or seamlessly integrate coaching into your existing role. You’ll get practical tools, coaching resources, and the confidence to show up with a level of professionalism and excellence that sets great coaches apart.
